As the weeks continue, players will be sent to minor league camps, or traded to other teams, or cut outright.  It is a ritual of spring each year and this year will be no different.

When spring training has ended seven weeks from now, 1,200 players will be on the Major League rosters, and thousands more will be heading to minor league ballparks across America in hopes of one day being in “The Bigs.”
