Tom Telesco Purchases Home in Rancho Santa Fe
Tom Telesco, the general manager of the San Diego Chargers, has purchased a Rancho Santa Fe home for $2.26 million. These are busy times in the pro athlete homes real estate market. It seems that almost daily another piece of sports real estate is purchased or sold, obviously pointing to an improved market, but also pointing out the transitory nature of professional sports and athlete relocation.
The Rancho Santa Fe home was built in 1989 and sits on one-and-a-half acres in Fairbanks Ranch, about twenty miles from Qualcomm Stadium. The home is two stories and nearly 5,400 square feet of living space. It features a gourmet kitchen, craft room, a living room with brick fireplace, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, six bedrooms and five full baths.
For entertaining the grounds include a large patio, a fire pit, lap pool and spa.
This sports real estate originally came on the market in February and was listed at $2.35 million. Details of the purchase were made known to the public. Telesco put 20% down and is financing the remaining $1.808 million at a fixed rate of 4.25% for thirty years.
Telesco came to the Chargers in 2013 after spending over a decade with the Indianapolis Colts.
