June 27th Event Helps Underprivileged Children
It was a great honor for those of us at SportsRelocation.com to sponsor the Willis McGahee Charity Golf Tournament on June 27th at the TPC Blue Monster at Doral in Miami. This great event was held to raise money for the Willis McGahee Foundation, which serves to aid underprivileged children by providing them with the tools and encouragement they need to become self-sufficient young people.
Athletes and celebrities from across the country made the trip to Miami to participate in the tournament and following that the Awards Lunch Reception and Auction, and we are happy to report that it was a great success.
This was just one of many events hosted by the McGahee Foundation, which was first established in Baltimore in 2009. During the year the Foundation provides toys for the holidays, Thanksgiving meals, school supplies, educational materials, and dental supplies for children in need, and it has received numerous awards for its philanthropic work in Baltimore.
