Player Transactions Continue in NFL
You would think rosters would be pretty set by Week 15 in the NFL, but player transactions are continuing and most likely will continue through the end of the season.
Why?
Injuries are usually the main reason for athlete relocations this late in the year. Take the Seattle Seahawks for example.
Five weeks ago Marshawn Lynch went down with an abdominal injury, which eventually became a hernia and required surgery. Seattle responded by signing Bryce Brown and Christine Michael, both of whom played in the recent win over Cleveland.
One just never knows when relocation is going to come a’callin’.
The same is true in Major League Baseball. Just because the Winter Meetings are over doesn’t mean players are set on rosters. There are still some big name free agents out there and you can bet they will be playing for new teams between now and the start of spring training in February.
And of course the NBA season is going fast and furious right now, and that means injuries and more free agent signings throughout the season.
