Michael Beasley Surprises All with Estate Sale
MICHAEL BEASLEY SURPRISES ALL WITH ESTATE SALE
We read with interest the other day that Michael Beasley, the former forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, recently held an estate sale in his former 5,000 square foot home in the Minneapolis suburbs.
Beasley, who was recently traded to Phoenix and signed a three-year deal worth $18 million, took a rather interesting approach when it came time to make the move to Phoenix. Most professional athletes will call a relocation company and have their possessions and vehicles transported to the new city. Not Beasley, however; he decided to open his doors to the public and sell his possessions right out of the house that he had rented while living in Minneapolis.
Beasley contacted Esquire Estate Sales and had them handle the sale of his possessions, and then he moved to Phoenix to begin his new stay in that city. We would have to assume he then purchased all new possessions and furnishings in Phoenix for this new home there.
Perhaps Mr. Beasley was not aware that companies like ours, SportsRelocation.com, existed. Perhaps he believed that moving possessions was such a hassle that he did not want to experience it. If that were the case it is unfortunate. What Michael didn’t understand is that relocation is not a hassle when dealing with companies like SportsRelocation.com. We arrange everything! We can bring someone in to do all the packing; we arrange the loading of possessions into a moving van. We arrange to have vehicles transported and we arrange to have the possessions unloaded at the new destination. All you, as the pro athlete, have to do is meet with us and you are done with the hassles.
Perhaps he was in a big hurry and needed to arrive in Phoenix as quickly as possible. Still, we could have handled it all without him being there. That is the beauty of dealing with pro athlete relocation experts. We do it all and the relocation is a worry-less process!
Then again, perhaps Mr. Beasley just didn’t care about possessions, and we suspect this just might be the case. Unlike many athletes, Beasley was not living in a palatial mansion but rather a home in the burbs’. One suspects that he simply did not care about the possessions and decided to start fresh in his new city.
Whatever the reason for this interesting move, we wish Michael Beasley much success in Phoenix. For all of you out there contemplating a major relocation, give us a call. SportsRelocation.com is your one-stop relocation center.
