Location and Luxury Real Estate

“I have an athlete relocation client for you.  He wants to know the best area to live in the Los Angeles area.” That was a phone call we received at Sportsrelocation.com last week.  A client was moving from Boston following a trade, and they were looking for some recommendations on where to live.

We of course mentioned some of the best neighborhoods for luxury real estate, places like Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Holmby Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, and Westwood.  They do say, after all, location, location, location, when talking about real estate purchases.

But they also say, and this is crucial when buying real estate, that a property needs to have what a buyer wants in order for it to become a great property.  Yes, location is important if a person plans on selling that property in the near future, but for the long run, a property must have the features that are desired, because you’ll be living there for a decade or longer.

Never rush into a real estate purchase.  Weigh all the factors, meet as many of your needs as possible, and only then make a decision.

Give us a call.  We are headquartered in Los Angeles and we’ve been buying and selling luxury real estate for longer than most players have been in the pros.
