Leasing Celebrity Real Estate
The PGA Golf Championship just ended at Valhalla in Louisville, and as you know by now, Rory McIlroy took home the trophy. We mention this because of a phone call we received at the office of Sportsrelocation.com the other day.
The call was from a good customer and friend of ours, and they were wondering if we could secure celebrity real estate for them to live in for the week of June 18-21, 2015. That is the week that the U.S. Open will be held at Chambers Bay, University Place, Washington, and since it is the first major golf tournament ever held at that new links golf course, our customer rightly assumed it might be a bit difficult to secure housing during the tournament.
We assured him that we could, indeed, find him a place to stay during that tournament, and then we set out contacting professionals in that area who are privy to luxury homes that are for lease for special occasions.
And we can do the same for you. Athlete relocation is not always about moving to a new city following a trade. Sometimes it means a short relocation for a special event, and the same network we use to find you permanent housing in sports real estate can be used to find short-term housing for special events.
Keep in mind the following dates for the four major golf tournaments of 2015:
Augusta National The Masters April 9-12
The U.S. Open Chambers Bay June 19=8-21
British Open Royal Liverpool July 16-19
PGA Championship Whistling Straits, Kohler, Wisconsin August 13-16
