Julius Peppers Buys Coral Gables Mansion
Julius Peppers, the outside linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, recently laid down a cool $5.18 million for a Coral Gables mansion. The property was originally owned by Stefan and Daysi Johansson, who paid $1.3 million in 2000. Included in the purchase is a 9,100 square foot home with eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a library, wine cellar, chef’s kitchen, staff quarters, and pool.
The 58,000 square foot property was listed at $5.5 million.
Peppers is a former member of the North Carolina football and basketball teams, and was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers with the second pick of the 2002 NFL Draft. He spent eight seasons with the Panthers and four more with Chicago before joining the Packers as a free agent this past March.
