After the 2016 NFL Draft
The first pick in the 2016 NFL Draft was Jarod Goff of California. The last pick, #253, was Kalan Reed of Southern Mississippi. Two-hundred and fifty-three draft picks spread out over three days with varying degrees of success for thirty-two NFL teams.
Now what?
Now the teams will attempt to sign those draft picks. Now the teams will hold a series of evaluations and mini-camps in an attempt to decide where the real talent lies and who is the best fit for their teams for the 2016 season.
Now the teams will cut players while keeping an eye on the waiver wire. Now teams will pray for a healthy pre-season and make contingency plans in case injuries do occur. Now teams will juggle their depth chart and decide where they still have pressing needs.
And then the pre-season schedule starts and the jockeying and roster moves will begin again.
