PRO ATHLETE RELOCATION:  THE LATEST PRO SPORTS TRANSACTIONS

The last few days have been hectic for professional basketball players as trades have been happening fast and furious.  Probably the biggest news in basketball, where most of the trades have taken place, is the trade that has not happened as of yet.

Dwight Howard recently met with officials from the Los Angeles Lakers.  A Kobe-Dwight team?  Stay tuned as the Dwight Howard saga continues.

There were plenty of trades that did happen in the NBA in the last few days.  Let’s take a look at the latest:

  • Chicago traded Kyle Korver to Atlanta for cash.
  • Kurt Thomas was traded to New York
  • Dan Gadzuric was traded to Portland
  • Kostas Papanikolaou was traded to Portland
  • Raymond Felton was traded to New York
  • Jared Jeffries was traded to Portland
  • James Johnson was traded to Sacramento
  • Brad Miller was traded to New Orleans
  • Ian Mahinmi was traded to Indiana

Note that all of that happened in the past four days and there is more to come.  When it comes to professional athletes, nothing is for certain regarding the future.  Pro athlete relocation is a very real possibility on any given day.

The NFL was fairly quiet this week.  The biggest news came out of Oakland where Seattle RB Marshawn Lunch was arrested on a DUI charge.

The only trade that has happened to date in Major League Baseball is Atlanta trading Todd Redmond to Cincinnati for cash.  However, stay tuned because the trade deadline is two weeks away and we promise you that there will be considerable movement by teams within the next week to ten days.

All of this activity of course means pro athletes will be scrambling to change towns and move possessions.  With training camps in the NFL scheduled to open soon and with the MLB season just barely over half over, this is an anxious time for many athletes.  We at SportsRelocation.com understand.  You see, this is why we are in business.  We specialize in Pro Athlete Relocation and Pro Athlete Real Estate transactions.  When the trade is made and you find yourself in need of a quick, professional relocation, give us a call and find out everything we can do for you.
